My knowledge of some parts of world geography is weak. So I am thinking about purchasing a globe.

Well, wow.

Globes are expensive. They basically start at $20 and go up 2 orders of magnitude from there.

Of course the nice globes for adults - the ones that have floor stands - are like hundreds of dollars. Very annoying.

So I'm grubbing around for free world map apps on my iPod. Huh.
