Wheel meet rut?
Jul. 20th, 2013 01:21 pmI have a work-issued tablet; fulltimers get them. Its purpose is to get me comfortable with and thinking with mobile.
Okay. Fine. New toy. I can have a calendar, email, a browser, maps, and some social media - out of the box.
Alll riiiight then, that's fricking lame. Zero content creation.
28 hours later:
Emacs, terminal emulator, keyboard with bucky bits, working on getting non-root busybox clones.
Fine... now my tablet is starting to behave like a workstation. But that's not the right way to use a touch device, I intuit.
Key challenge to self: how to make this hardware really help me do things.
