vlionOn the 'phone' using Google Voice on the laptop. I am calling Norton. I wrote a program some time ago that Norton auto-deletes from my dad's computer.
It's really amazing. In so many ways, we live in science fiction today. I am reading about Stuxnet. That stuff is scary. I work in a PLC-related field, and, yeah, I'm wondering if my company will be the next target.
My primary project at work is wrapping up, and I'm spinning up the next one. I am becoming more competent. I have suggested that my current project be branched to become part of a paid-add-on.
A friend emailed me to tell me that a job I linked him and he interviewed for came through and he got it. It's a salaried position; his pay is getting boosted. I am tremendously gratified. He will do well. He just got married too. His life will be so much better for a time.
The weather is turning.
