Having some kind of beard and shaving aren't polar opposites for a lot of men--my boyfriend has a goatee, but still shaves most of his face. But he doesn't buy the kind of razors the article is talking about, because they're MORE expensive for a WORSE experience. He has shaving soap, a bristle brush, and a nice metal handle into which he puts razors that cost around $10 for 100 blades--aka, nearly two years of shaving. Doing it this way has paid for itself ten times over already. The article is closer to the mark when it talks about the companies digging their own graves by making their product so expensive compared to the alternatives (which are even more eco friendly because they don't involve throwing away so much plastic waste!)
